Considered some of the best decaf coffee out there, grown in the high Santa Cruz Barillas Mountains of Guatemala’s Huehuetenango district. This organic decaf coffee is grown alongside other tropical plants following regenerative, soil enhancing principles that provide a hint of sweet, fruity undertones to the coffee while also enhancing its nutritional content.
Decaffeinated naturally using the mountain water process popular with organic farmers because it involves decaffeinating the coffee with mineral rich mountain spring water that not only avoids the chemicals found in many decaf beans but maintains the high mineral and antioxidant content of caffeinated beans. This bean packs a punch and for once allows you to drink decaf without compromising on flavor!
All our coffees are roasted in the craft coffee style meaning small batch and frequent roasting to ensure the freshest coffee possible and each bean being roasted to bring out the unique flavor of its soil. We rarely roast dark and when we do are very careful not to roast out the unique taste of the bean’s origin.
Our farmers regenerate the soils, rebuild rainforests, work in small farm coops, follow organic and fair trade practices, some even use drought resistant beans to regreen the desert!
